There is an English teacher in my building who enjoys this book and recommends it to students， so I picked it up。 The positives are that it is a nice combination of text and graphics， it is an easier read for reluctant readers， and it is funny in parts。 I think I wasn’t as drawn to it because it is about pranks， and I am not a fan of pranks。 It probably is much more appealing to 4th grade and up readers， than me， a middle aged woman。

Starting a shelf where I can track elementary chapter books for reading with kids。 This book was funny and clever， and the class （3rd grade） absolutely loved it。 Some kids who aren’t generally excited about reading we’re excited about this one。

Found this for my boys to read but I thought I’d read the first few chapters to make sure it was something they’d like。。。。 ended up reading the whole thing。 Two pranksters end up at the same school and it’s quite humorous。 I’m not even embarrassed （maybe a little embarrassed） to say that I’ll be picking up the rest of the series for myself。

I read this with my 11 year old。 He literally laughed out loud in a few parts and was eager to read the rest of the series。 As an adult， I could have passed on this book。 It’s definitely geared towards kids and their humor。 Giving it four stars though because the intended audience liked it。

This book is a silly adventure story， great for grades 2-4。 But it also has awesome vocabulary use。 If you ever wanted a book where a child had to learn to use a hardback or online dictionary， this has a lot of atypical vocabulary for this age group。
